Over the past years Schenker rolled out a multi-level AI training. Purpose of the training was to drive innovation culture and bring more data science savvy people in the organization to their next level. The logistics industry is highly competitive, business needs are changing rapidly, and global supply chains are frequently disrupted. Therefore, logistics companies need to react quickly to changes in supply and demand. Dynamic pricing based on machine learning takes into account large amounts of transaction, customer and market data to optimize prices. In this presentation, Annemarie discusses the most common ML algorithms for dynamic pricing, outlines the challenges of implementation, and shares her experiences from their dynamic pricing project at Kühne+Nagel.
