Bio:

Edwin Yaqub is a senior data scientist at the research department of RapidMiner. He has expertise in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Constraint Optimizations, Data Augmentation and rapid prototyping, which he applies to solve industrial and scientific problems. He is currently active in research and development of AI/ML based solutions for 5G wireless telecommunication networks, and enabling the use of data streaming technologies. He worked previously as a researcher and software engineer in different sectors including finance, healthcare, automotive, eCommerce and cloud computing, where he mostly focused on automation and analytics aspects. He holds a Masters degree in Computer Science from RWTH Aachen University and a Ph.D. degree in Computer Science from the University of Göttingen, Germany.
