Bio:

Dr. Markus Köster currently leads the R&D team of the business unit industrial analytics at Weidmüller. His unit creates AI- and ML-based software solutions for predictive analytics and anomaly detection in the area of Industry 4.0. The software created in his team has received multiple awards, including the “Industrie 4.0 Innovation Award” 2019 of the VDE and ZVEI. Before joining Weidmüller in 2011, he worked as scientist and lecturer at Imperial College London (UK) and at the University of Paderborn.
