Bio:

Laura Velikonja is Head of Business Data Analytics at ZEISS Digital Partners. Her team supports ZEISS in its transformation towards a data driven organization by delivering scalable data products in the area of advanced analytics.

Laura holds a degree in Mathematics from TU Munich and has worked as a Data Scientist both in a consultancy and corporate before. Data literacy is a topic close to her heart, which is why she shares her knowledge at conferences, workshops and mentorships and recently joined the Toolbox Datenkompetenz as a member of the advisory board, an initiative of the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research with the goal of embedding data literacy in the broader society.
