Bio:

Thomas Neuer is a Data Scientist based in Zürich working at Unit8, a Swiss data science service and analytics company. Thomas is currently working on the development of open-source projects in the field of time series forecasting, generative models and MLOps. Before Unit8, he worked as a biomedical researcher at the University Hospital of Zurich developing time-to-event and quality-of-life models in the department of thoracic surgery. Prior to that, he worked as a Data Scientist at EPha analysing insurance data for predictive and explainable AI models.Thomas holds a M. Sc. in Physics from the University of Zurich, focusing on deep generative models.
